With a series of bilingual written instructions and wordless gestures inspired by the folklore of metsänpeitto (forest cover), during the performance, Tuulikki's collaborator Peter McMaster silently guided the audience into-and-out of the woodland on Vallisaari island, following the sound of Tuulikki's voice calling through the trees and singing a backwards song of sorrow.
The booklet features the text that appeared in the performance alongside hand drawn images of the gestures, and is accompanied by an insert with credits and more information on the work.
Includes unlimited streaming of Under Forest Cover
via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.
